Starting a yoga practice is one of the most empowering things you can do for your body and mind. But walking into your first class can feel overwhelming — What should I wear? Will I be able to keep up? What if I'm not flexible enough?
The truth is: yoga is for every body. At Nourish & Flourish Wellness, every single class is open to all skill levels, and our instructors provide modifications for every posture. You don't need to touch your toes to start yoga. You just need to show up.
What to Bring
Bring a water bottle, a yoga mat (we have extras if you don't have one yet), and a towel — especially if you're trying one of our heated classes. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that lets you move freely.
Which Class Should You Try First?
We recommend starting with **Hatha Yoga** or **Slow Flow**. Both move at a gentler pace, hold postures longer so you can find proper alignment, and give you time to connect breath with movement. Once you feel comfortable, you can explore more dynamic options like Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga.
In-Person or Virtual?
Both! If you're local to Henning, MN, come experience the studio energy. If you're joining from further away, our virtual classes stream live via Zoom with the same instruction and community feel.
