Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before, during, and after your first class.
What should I bring to class?+
Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a small towel. For heated classes (85–90°F), we recommend an extra water bottle and a larger towel. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing you can move freely in. Mats are available to borrow at the studio if needed.
Do I need experience to start yoga?+
Not at all — every class at Nourish & Flourish is open to all levels. Our instructors provide modifications for every posture, every time. Whether it's your very first class or your five-hundredth, you belong here. We never single anyone out or leave anyone behind.
How do virtual classes work?+
Virtual classes are streamed live via Zoom. When registering, choose the 'Virtual' attendance option. Return 1–5 minutes before class starts, log in to your account, navigate to the 'Classes' section, and click 'View Broadcast' where the Register button was. No email link is sent — access is through the registration platform. Works best when Zoom is already set up on your device.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Please cancel at least 2 hours before class if you can no longer attend so your spot can open up for someone on the waitlist. Cancellations made through the booking platform will return your class credit. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the class credit. If you have questions about a specific situation, reach out to us directly.
What does 'heated' mean?+
Heated classes are held in a room warmed to approximately 85–90°F. The heat helps muscles warm up more quickly, deepens flexibility, and can increase the cardiovascular challenge of a class. We recommend bringing extra water and a larger towel. If you have any health conditions that may be affected by heat, please consult your doctor before attending a heated class.
How does the Bring a Friend program work?+
Every single class includes a complimentary guest pass — no extra cost. Bring a friend, family member, or colleague who has never tried yoga, or just someone who could use a reset. Your guest needs to create a free account on the booking platform and sign a waiver before class. That's it — no catch.
What's the difference between class types?+
We offer 12 different class formats to suit every body and goal. Highlights include: Vinyasa Flow (breath-guided movement, dynamic and flowing), Wildfire Flow (high-energy sculpt with heat), Kundalini Awakening (breathwork, kriya, meditation, mantra), Restorative & Breathwork (gentle, nervous system reset), Hot 26 (traditional Bikram-style in heated room), and Yoga Sculpt (strength-focused with weights). See the full Classes page for all 12 formats.
How do class packs and memberships work?+
We offer single classes, class packs (3, 5, 10, or 20 classes), and a Monthly Unlimited membership. The Monthly Unlimited membership includes all in-person and virtual classes plus access to the on-demand library. All class passes and packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The on-demand library is also available as a standalone subscription on a sliding scale ($15–$55/month). See the Pricing page for current rates.
Do you offer sliding scale pricing?+
Yes — our on-demand library subscription is available on a sliding scale from $15–$55/month. Give what you can, no questions asked. We believe financial barriers should not prevent anyone from accessing the benefits of yoga. If you have concerns about affordability, reach out and we'll do our best to help.
Where is the studio located?+
We are located at 500 School Ave, Henning, MN 56551. Virtual classes are available for anyone who can't make it in person — join live from anywhere via Zoom.
