My personal journey to health and wellness has sparked a strong desire to help others live a healthier, more fulfilling life. I started working as a Registered Nurse in 2010, and my nursing career has given me a strong foundation of health and wellness from a medical standpoint.
Over my years of working as an RN, I have come to realize the importance of cultivating a preventative and holistic approach when it comes to preventing chronic disease.
In 2023, I completed my CrossFit Level I training, 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), Hot 26 yoga certification, and Yoga Sculpt certification. Yoga has helped me recover from an unhealthy relationship with food, speak my truth, and find my true authentic self.
Outside of my passion and career, I am a mom to two beautiful boys — Owen (7) and Jack (5). I love spending time at the lake, hiking, biking, being with family and friends, riding horses, and trying new things.
I also serve as nursing faculty at Minnesota State College in Wadena, where I continue to share my love of health education.
